These Terms of Service govern your use of Evnto, a school event management platform. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Evnto (the "Service"), you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal authority to enter into this agreement, and agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you are accessing the Service on behalf of an institution, you represent that you have the authority to bind that institution to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
Description of Service
Evnto is a multi-tenant software platform that enables educational institutions ("Schools") to create, manage, and publish events; collect registrations and payments from students and attendees; track attendance; and access analytics and communication tools.
The Service is provided on a subscription basis to Schools and is accessible to end users (students, parents, and staff) through web interfaces. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
User Accounts & Eligibility
To access certain features, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Evnto is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials. Account sharing between multiple individuals is not permitted.
School Accounts & Responsibilities
School accounts are created by authorized representatives and grant administrative access to manage events, users, and configurations for that institution. School administrators are responsible for:
- Ensuring all event information is accurate and compliant with applicable laws
- Obtaining necessary permissions for content uploaded to the platform
- Managing user access and permissions appropriately
- Complying with applicable data protection regulations regarding student data
- Maintaining accurate billing information for subscription payments
New school accounts may require approval by the platform owner before gaining full access.
Events & Registrations
Schools may create events and accept registrations through the platform. Each school is solely responsible for the events they host, including accuracy of event details, safety of participants, and compliance with local regulations.
Evnto facilitates registration and payment collection but is not a party to the agreement between a school and its event attendees. Disputes regarding event cancellations, eligibility, or attendance are to be resolved directly between the school and the attendee.
Payments & Fees
Subscription fees are charged to Schools for access to the platform, as described in our pricing page. Event registration fees paid by end users are collected on behalf of the respective school via integrated payment gateways (such as Cashfree) and are subject to the school's own refund policy.
Platform fees, where applicable, are deducted from transactions as disclosed at the time of payment configuration. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy. Subscription renewals are charged automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
Intellectual Property
The Evnto platform, including its software, design, trademarks, and content, is owned by Evnto and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.
Content uploaded by Schools (logos, event descriptions, images) remains the property of the respective school. By uploading content, you grant Evnto a limited licence to display and process that content solely to provide the Service.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Upload or share content that is fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, or harmful
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the platform
- Use automated scripts to access or scrape the Service
- Circumvent any security, access control, or billing mechanism
- Impersonate another person or institution
- Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful code
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Evnto and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or if we discontinue the Service.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data associated with your account may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for billing purposes, after which it will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice via email or a prominent notice on the platform.
Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
