Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information Evnto collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our platform, you agree to the practices described here.

1

Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password. Schools also provide institutional details such as school name, address, and contact information.

2

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Evnto platform
  • Process event registrations and subscription payments
  • Send transactional notifications such as registration confirmations and payment receipts
  • Communicate platform updates, new features, and important notices
  • Monitor for security threats and prevent fraudulent activity
  • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
  • Generate analytics and reports for school administrators

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We may share your information with:

  • Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors that help us operate the platform (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing). These parties are contractually obligated to keep your data confidential.
  • School Administrators: Registration data for events is accessible to the school managing that event, as necessary to operate the service.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Evnto, our users, or the public.

We do not share personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS), hashed password storage, and access controls that limit who can view your information.

While we strive to protect your data, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your credentials confidential.

5

Cookies & Tracking

Evnto uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session (keeping you logged in), remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. We use strictly necessary cookies and do not use third-party advertising trackers.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality.

6

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. School data is retained for the duration of the subscription and a reasonable period thereafter to support billing disputes or legal obligations.

When you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes or fraud prevention.

7

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information in your account
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
  • Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection: Object to certain processing activities

Children's Privacy

Evnto accounts may only be created by individuals who are 18 years of age or older, or by authorised school representatives. Event registrations for minors are submitted by school staff or parents/guardians acting on their behalf.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to remove that information.

9
